A Vanguard VR5D flatbed UV printer has been installed at Gilman’s Connecticut headquarters, which will add greater opportunities for product testing and prototyping to the company’s Customer Experience Center (CEC). The CEC already houses a ZÜND G3-2500 cutter. Visitors to the CEC will have an opportunity to see firsthand the printer’s performance when printing on Gilman Brothers products like INFINITY® styrene faced foamboard. The on-site printer will enable Gilman Brothers to offer prototype support for the wide format printing industry and will be available for premier customers needing prototype samples, sales kits etc. With the installation of the new printer, Gilman Brothers will have the ability to fully educate, discuss, assist and demonstrate various substrate options and potential applications. The installation is the result of a strategic alliance between The Gilman Brothers Company and Vanguard Digital Printing Systems.
