WSA Introduces 2014 Educational Offerings

As the sign manufacturing industry’s education association, not-for-profit World Sign Associates consists of member sign manufacturing and associated product companies on the forefront of technology and winning management practices. During 2014, the association will provide its members with two signature educational opportunities.

On June 4-6, WSA members will capitalize on the association’s annual educational seminar in Denver, Colorado. Over the three-day period, industry leaders will engage in interactive learning and face-to-face networking, as well as “Driving a Great Business: A Financial Workshop for Business Owners and Profit Makers.” Case studies, group discussions, and small group activities will boost profits by helping members maintain a vision and a commitment to succeed; build value, drive sales, and produce returns; monitor productivity and financial strength; track results; and evaluate relevant decision-making tools. Barbara Nuss, CPA and president of Profit Soup, will facilitate the workshop.

WSA will also be initiating a five-part webinar series to help members discover a clear strategic plan for growth, organization and success that results in a healthy business. Developed specifically for sign industry leaders, the series will support members in revealing a business direction, selecting a growth strategy, planning for succession, identifying strategy-setting tools and exploring organizational strategies. John Edson, CPA/ABV/CFF, CMA, CVA and president of BPK&Z, created the series for WSA. The webinar will premiere July and August of 2014.

Since 1947, World Sign Associates has provided members with a forum for fellowship, support and the exchange of ideas. WSA members adhere to high ethical business standards and bring the utmost value to their customers.
