New Appointments: November 2011-II

Global Imaging Inc. has been named the sole US distributor of PrinterEvolution and Novus Imaging products. Both PrinterEvolution and Novus Imaging offer high-quality, environmentally friendly printers and inks.

Heat Transfer Warehouse will open a new warehouse next month in Las Vegas, Nevada in order to accommodate a large customer base in the western United States and to help increase sales and market share for that region. With the new location, HTW can reach more potential and established customers quickly with next day service to California and other significant urban areas in the region such as Salt Lake City and Phoenix.

The International Sign Association has hired Matthew Rumbaugh as director of education. He will look for opportunities to work with member companies as a partner in education. Rumbaugh most recently worked as senior manager of education and training for the National Glass Association.

Laminators Incorporated has hired Cheryl LeBlanc as customer relations manager, and she will be responsible for the inside sales and customer service functions in the Sign Division. LeBlanc has over 10 years of sales and customer service experience. Laminators also promoted Jason Bauknecht to customer relations manager, Sign and Architectural Products. Bauknecht will now be responsible for handling inside sales for the Southeast and Chesapeake regions of the Architectural Division.

MaxLite has formed a strategic partnership with Redwood Systems to integrate its MaxLED™ LED luminaires into Redwood’s building-performance lighting control platform. The strategic partnership enables MaxLite LED luminaires to be remotely powered by the Redwood platform with the appropriate power and electrical properties for Redwood’s Class 2 power delivery system. They are “profiled” to enable automatic plug-and-play and full fixture auto-commissioning.

Nimlok Orlando has opened a newly designed showroom at its headquarters at 4850 L.B. McLeod Road in Orlando, Florida. The showroom contains a wide assortment of trade show exhibits and design ideas, and it is open to anyone looking for the latest displays and designs.

PrinterEvolution has appointed Michael Syverson as director of Special Projects. He will help develop strategy and solutions to fit market needs and will oversee the engineering, development, and final field implementation of projects. Syverson previously worked for EFI-VUTEk and most recently for Global Garage, which is a leading marketplace for used wide and grand format equipment and parts.

SignEffectz, Inc. has hired Mike McDonald as sales representative. McDonald brings six years of sign industry experience to the position and has been involved in all facets of project and account management.

Video Mount Products has named Indianapolis-based Secure Marketing Solutions as its manufacturer’s representative for the Midwest territory, which includes Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania.
