PitmanAgfa_logoIt has been nine months since the acquisition of the Pitman Company by Agfa Graphics. Through this acquisition, Agfa diversified its presence into far larger addressable markets. It expanded capabilities in industrial print, strengthened its distribution power, and entered the packaging and pressroom markets with a comprehensive product portfolio that includes a wide range of world-class manufacturers. Agfa also created an opportunity to grow its industrial inkjet business by adding complementary product lines such as inks, substrates, and finishing products.

And the two companies have grown in a number of other ways since the acquisition. Strategic partners for over fifty years, Pitman and Agfa continue to integrate their product lines and service offerings in order to deliver complete solutions that enable businesses to produce more powerful messages, become more profitable, and grow.

“Working with world-class manufacturers, Agfa Graphics and Pitman provide innovative technology and integrated service excellence through an unrivaled distribution network that will help our customers distinguish themselves from competitors,” said Peter Wilkens, president, Agfa Graphics, North America. “We have the subject area experts that partner with businesses to help them select the right products and processes. We help our customers provide faster and efficient delivery of goods and services so they can maximize their business potential.”
