Laminators_OmegaBondCollectionLaminators Incorporated, manufacturer of aluminum composite panels, recently announced that its solid core sign panel, Omega-Bond, has received UL recognition as an approved component for electrical signs.

Omega-Bond, a solid core aluminum composite panel, features a double-sided painted aluminum bonded to a solid polyethylene core, making them rigid yet lightweight. This high-quality rigid substrate is optimal for direct digital printing, bending, routing and cutting and can be used in a multitude of applications including real estate signs, billboards, government spec work and more.

Omega-Bond joins Alumalite™, Econolite®, LusterBoard®, and SignPly® in this recognition.

According to UL’s Standard for Electrical Signs (UL 48), these panels can be used as part of the sign body for decorative applications and should not be used to enclose bare live parts or wiring. In addition, these panels are also suitable for use in terminating conduit runs.

“This is a significant advancement for our Omega-Bond product”, says Michael Leneski, National Sales Manager at Laminators Incorporated. “While Omega-Bond has always been recognized as a high-quality, solid core sign panel, receiving the UL recognition now provides even more value to our customers.”
