“Kids need to have easy to read and understood signage to direct them where to go at the start of a new school year. Yet more often than not, school way finding graphics are dated or corporate- looking—anything but child-friendly,” explained Brian Meister.
Image360’s team of innovative designers developed custom-routed, tree limb-shaped shingle hangers, which were wrapped in digitally printed vinyl graphics. From each colorful “limb” hung the sign identifying each classroom.
In addition to being much more appealing to its young students and parents, these creative graphics are highly practical: if classrooms need to be reassigned in the future, the Tree of Life school can easily swap out the hanging shingle to reflect the new classroom use.
“Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the difference. Tree of Life Christian Academy Pre-school could have created simple plaques as classroom identifiers. But they took an extra step to create a custom wayfinding system that is colorful, creative and promotes their brand,” explained Sue Meister. “Hopefully their example will inspire their students, too, to never settle for good when, with a little extra work and innovation, you can be great.”
