Keystone Brings Mobile Product Experience Straight to Customers

When travel and tradeshows shut down in 2020, Keystone Technologies didn’t wait around for things to start up again. In addition to a showroom in its headquarters, called Keystone Live!, the company created its own rolling tradeshow by customizing a trailer with fully functional products and taking the mobile unit directly to customers.

It was called Keystone Live! On Tour, and customers loved it.

A year later, On Tour is now four mobile showrooms strong, and Keystone, the industry-leading lighting and lighting controls manufacturer (which recently introduced a new, immersive version of its main Keystone Live! showroom at its Philadelphia-area headquarters) hasn’t let up on the accelerator.

On Tour, which allows customers to see, touch, and feel Keystone’s latest products and its popular lines of lamps, fixtures, power supplies, and controls, is now putting on events from Minnesota to Texas, California to Florida, and pretty much everywhere in between.

“If Keystone Live! in our headquarters is a way to offer live demonstrations through video feeds and conference calls, Keystone Live! On Tour has brought that experience directly to customers with fully decked-out mobile showrooms. Customers experience the quality of our products, and Keystone representatives are on-site to inform customers about and demonstrate our latest innovations,” said Josh Brown, executive vice president of Marketing and Distributor Sales. “It’s a logical extension of our Keystone Live! initiative, which began during COVID-19 as a way of reaching our customers that goes beyond just slides on a computer – and both have been hugely successful.”

The heart of On Tour consists of four extensive mobile showrooms, each featuring a broad scope of Keystone’s commercial, industrial, and residential product lines:

Lamps. Keystone offers a wide range of LED lamps, including linear, HID and CFL replacements, A-shape, decorative, spotlight, PAR, and reflector styles.

Fixtures. Keystone’s popular indoor and outdoor fixtures are ideal for upgrading to energy-efficient LED technology. Many are available with SKU-reducing Power and Color Select technology, which allows distributors to cut down on stocking, and contractors to adapt to end-users’ preferences by adjusting power/intensity and color temperature with the flick of a switch.

Power supplies. Keystone power supplies were the first products manufactured when Keystone was founded in 1945. Today, reliable LED drivers and emergency battery backup solutions, which power a range of products, remain the bedrock of the business. All products across Keystone’s entire product catalog feature Keystone technology inside.

Controls. Whether it’s second-generation, field-installable screw-in motion sensors—which install in seconds—or wireless controls like the SmartLoop system, Keystone has controls that make commissioning and adjusting light easy and effortless.

Keystone Live! On Tour is simply a remarkable way to stay in touch with our customers,” said Ira Greenberg, CEO of Keystone Technologies. “All they have to do is ask, and we’ll show them what Light Made Easy is all about, right where they are.”
