Gilman Brothers EAGLECELL Meets Market Demand for an Eco-Friendly Alternative

The Gilman Brothers Company is responding to the wide format printing industry’s ever-increasing demand for an eco-friendly substrate with its EAGLECELL™ all-paper honeycomb graphics board.

“The wide format print industry continues to demand more eco-friendly alternatives for POP/Display and interior signage and we at Gilman Brothers are listening,” says Bill VanHorn, Director of Sales at Gilman Brothers. “All-paper EAGLECELL™ offers 100% recyclability, without compromising the print quality and structural strength our customers have come to expect.”

Recent results from a third party testing lab confirmed EAGLECELL™’s superior PSI strength compared to a competing board.  Its lightweight honeycomb core design is ideal for constructing lightweight, rigid exhibits, interior signage, POP displays, in-store merchandising, model building, and tradeshow booths.

EAGLECELL™ is faced with a 24 PT Carolina paper which is suited to hot or cold mounting, screen and digital printing.  Additionally, EAGLECELL™ is part of the Gilman Brothers ColorOne™ White Point Management System. The ColorOne™ white surface allows graphics to go in and out of fluorescent, incandescent or UV light without changing the white point.  This is particularly important when printing logos and identifiable company color schemes.

EAGLECELL™ will be featured in a yet-to-be-released promotional/training video expected out later this year. The Gilman Brothers Company recently added two new videos to their YouTube channel and website.  The videos feature INFINITY® styrene-faced foamboard and MountCor® low temperature heat-activated mounting board, and are part of a growing series of promotional/training videos aimed at educating the entire supply chain about the Gilman Brothers product line.

The Gilman Brothers Company will be featuring a display built with EAGLECELL™ at their booth at the upcoming SGIA 2016 tradeshow in Las Vegas this month.  Visitors to the tradeshow can view the display, as well as receive samples, at the Gilman Brothers Booth# 3569.
