LightFair today announced its 2025 plans to illuminate Las Vegas, May 4 – 8, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The five-day commercial and industrial lighting Conference and Trade Show is set to take the stage alongside HD Expo + Conference at Mandalay Bay Convention Center and open showrooms at the Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC), creating a three-day, three-destination Las Vegas Interior Design Week.

“LightFair’s 2025 edition will combine the innovation and design elements of commercial and industrial lighting with the ease of full-scale project sourcing across Las Vegas’s first Interior Design Week,” said Dan Darby, show director. “With LightFair’s shift to a new biennial cadence, the 2025 Conference and Trade Show provides industry suppliers with more time to create new and innovative designs and applications of the newest technology that set a new standard for lighting design and use.”

LightFair 2025 expects to showcase 400+ manufacturers and to attract 15,000 attendees across its five-day Conference and three-day Trade Show. As part of the first-ever Interior Design Week, specification resources extend to include HD Expo + Conference’s anticipated 650 exhibits and 8,000 attendees and LVDC’s 30+ designer showrooms alongside select market-only showrooms at World Market Center Las Vegas.

“The hospitality industry knows HD Expo + Conference as the ultimate destination for design education, product sourcing, and networking. The creation of an interior design week adds even more value and opportunities for attendees and exhibitors alike,” said Kevin Gaffney, Group Show Director, Design Group, and Group Vice President, Emerald.

Each design venue will provide complimentary reciprocal badging along with free shuttle service connecting the three locations. On the first night of the Design Week, May 6, 2025, all three markets are planning to co-host a combined celebration, open to all exhibitors and attendees.

“LVDC is a cornerstone of Las Vegas interior design sourcing, with furniture, fabrics, lighting, floor coverings, wall décor, decorative accessories, and kitchen and bath products,” added Cain Brodie, LVDC general manager. “This new concurrence with LightFair and HD Expo + Conference makes Las Vegas the pinnacle for interior design on the West Coast in 2025.”

Space selection for LightFair is expected to begin in April 2024, while registration will open February 1, 2025. LightFair runs Sunday, May 4 – Thursday, May 8 (trade show May 6 – 8), 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall; HD Expo runs Tuesday, May 6 – Thursday, May 8 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and LVDC is open daily at World Market Center Las Vegas, Building A.
