New Appointments: January II

EFI has appointed Vincent Pilette as its chief financial officer. Pilette previously worked for HP. EFI has also formed a new agreement with Heidelberg USA, Inc. Heidelberg will distribute the VUTEk® GS series of superwide format digital printers to the commercial print market across the US.

EskoArtwork has expanded its sales regions to include Latin America. Aleks Zlatic will continue to manage business in Latin America and will also oversee sales in the new EskoArtwork Western region. Tom Wiley will be responsible for managing sales efforts for EskoArtwork’s Central sales region. Paul Lightfoot will manage sales in the East.

Gemini Incorporated announces that Tom Smith, Gemini’s technical field specialist for the southeastern United States, retired on January 1, 2011. Smith joined Gemini in 2005 and dealt with more than 5500 sign companies, graphic designers, and trophy and recognition stores. Dave Cook will take over his territory.

Gerber Scientific Products appointed Clint Green to digital sales director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Green was previously managing director of Raster Printers Ltd. and held various senior management roles in other companies.

interclick, inc. appointed Bill Wise to its Board of Directors. Wise is CEO of MediaBank and a former executive of DoubleClick, Right Media, and Yahoo. Interclick also appointed David Honig to its Advisory Board. Honig is vice president, Business Development of BuddyMedia, and he also co-founded Media6Degrees.

MACtac® promoted Kim Hensley to product manager, durable films, within its roll label commercial area. Hensley is responsible for the management of MACtac’s durable film product line in North America, including standards and regulatory planning and administration, inventory management, price strategy development, and other areas. Hensley most recently served as product marketing manager for MACtac’s roll label business.

never.no appointed Kristian Kim Eikeland as vice president for broadcast, responsible for both international business development and sales. He most recently served as vice president of Operations for Supponor.

SEGD has appointed two members to its international Board of Directors. Steve Bayer, special projects director for Daktronics, Inc., and Oscar Fernández, coordinator of the Digital Design Program at the University of Cincinnati School of Design, both began their terms in January 2011.

signagelive has joined the Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) in an effort to promote openness in the digital signage sector.

Xaar has appointed Charlotte Baile as marketing communications manager. Baile will further develop Xaar’s relationship with its partners, as well as deliver strong communications about the benefits of Xaar printheads. Previously, Baile worked at Linx Printing Technologies.
