New Research from The Signage Foundation Explores Digital Print Technologies

New research from The Signage Foundation provides an inside look into what’s shaping and influencing the digital printing industry.

The research includes thoughts on how technologies, methodologies, and materials impact the sign and graphics industry, as well as how designers, fabricators, and manufacturers are navigating digital printing processes.

“Digital Print Trends and Technologies in the Sign and Graphics Industry,” was compiled by Craig Berger, Chair, Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, Berger, who has produced numerous research projects for the Signage Foundation, sought insight from leading environmental graphic designers, sign companies, and print product manufacturers.

“It is clear that this aspect of the sign and graphics industry is undergoing fundamental change,” said Duane Laska, chair of the Signage Foundation’s Board of Trustees. “This research explores how those changes are impacting the work that designers and sign manufacturers perform every day.”
