Software provider SA International (SAi) has launched Flexi Complete, an updated, comprehensive version of its Flexi sign making software.

In an effort to simplify the company’s lineup of Flexi-branded products, Flexi Complete—an all-in-one design, print and cut software for sign and print professionals—includes 30-plus new features engineered to address sign and display users’ day-to-day needs.

“As its name reflects, Flexi Complete delivers the entire package integrating design, RIP, and production capabilities into one solution,” said Mikki Webb, President & CEO, SAi.

New features include:

  • Finishing tools in Flexi Design: Now these tools are integrated into the design workflow rather than being options that must be applied in Production Manager. This enables sign and large-format display users to add grommets, fold lines and bleeds to any project. By using the handy DesignCentral control panel, users can directly customize elements and produce precise bleeds with multiple options, including corner choices.
  • Nesting enhancements: Two new nesting options within Production Manager are designed for smoother workflows. Job images can be viewed during movement and layouts can be updated with a simple checkbox. Additional features such as manual overlapping, zoom options and vertical alignment tools increase precision and improve efficiency for sign and large format print applications.
  • Improved user interface: Flexi Complete’s refreshed look will still feel familiar to mosed users. The interface now offers options to personalize the theme and layout. For sign making, DTF DTG, direct-to-vinyl or other wide format printing applications, the optimized interface promotes a streamlined workflow, so users can navigate the software with easily and quickly.

Other advancements addressing common pain points among sign makers include Advanced Text Designer and Advanced ContourCut, the latter of which allows contour paths to be previewed on their own. This allows users to catch errors before a job is sent. Additionally, a new keyboard shortcut addresses the annoyance of masking/unmasking objects.

“As we have always done, we’re constantly developing the software to ensure it meets the specific and demanding needs of our customers and in Flexi Complete, we are delivering a solution that genuinely shifts the dial in improving productivity and efficiencies across the full gamut of sign and large format print applications,” said Webb.

SAi will be exhibiting at the ISA Sign Expo in Orlando, Florida April 10-12 in booth #2617. In addition to showcasing Flexi Complete’s 30-plus new features, experts will be demonstrating the company’s EnRoute CAD/CAM design software for CNC sign making, woodworking and fabrication.
