Gemini Releases New Expanded Plaque Catalog

Gemini Incorporated, a major manufacturer of dimensional letters, logos, and plaques for the signage and recognition industries, announces the publication of its new Plaques, Markers and Etchings Professional Design Catalog. The expanded fifty-two-page price list is Gemini’s most comprehensive plaque catalog to date with prices effective through May 2014.

Celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in business in 2013, Gemini also announced a key pricing change in this year’s catalog with the reduction of prices on all non-standard circular plaques, making these popular options more accessible. The new catalog also features more photos and installation illustrations than ever before, and includes an expanded section on decorative stand-offs.

New developments in plaque and wayfinding signage for 2013 include new 3030 Green Acrylic available in gauges ranging from 1/4-inch to 3/4-inch in sheets with dimensions up to 4-by-8 feet. With a smooth glass-like appearance, this new product is laser engraveable, making it an outstanding choice for wayfinding and identification applications.

A new engraving process—Metal Image—is also available. This process involves firing a thin layer of ceramic onto a stainless steel plate and then laser etching words, pictures or logos on the plaque or marker. After the un-engraved porcelain is removed what’s left is not only a fantastic-looking image, but also a product that will last a lifetime—the porcelainized stainless steel is impervious to nearly all conditions.

Gemini manufactures metal plaques whether the plaques are architectural, etched or designed to meet ADA specifications. Gemini can create the marker, seal, or plaque you need in just eight working days after artwork approval. All Gemini products come with a lifetime guarantee,
